Bankies were hoping to build on Saturday's good performance against SEMSA and did so in the first 45minutes.

Baillieston were reduced to shooting from distance as Bankies went out looking to frustrate their opponents.

The home side rattled the bar twice while Mark Connolly had a good chance at the other end but one heavy touch allowed the keeper to come out and smother the ball.

Paul Mooney almost got on the end of an Eddie Higgins cross, had he been two feet taller it could have been a different story.

Into the second half and Baillieston took the lead. A header from a corner was cleared off the line but a Villa forward was first to react to turn the ball over the line.

Poor defending led to the second with a free header coming from another corner before a super third put the game out of reach.

Higgins and Mooney both missed good one on one chances before the hosts wrapped it up with a fourth.
