With almost a full team missing, the Bankies put up a decent performance against the experienced Park Athletic side who won 7-2 last time the teams met.

With no goalkeeper, Gregg Gillan took the custodians job in the first half, with Davey Steven coming in for the second.

Park won thanks to 3 well worked and well taken goals.

Kevin Brodie missed Bankies best chance when he rounded the keeper only to fall over at the vital second midway through the second half.

Bankies hope to return to league business with a trip to Blantyre to face Baillieston, weather permitting.
