Semsa 2 UCS 1

Bankies were unlucky not force a draw in this league cup tie at Glasgow Green on Saturday morning.

With such a big squad to choose from the manager felt it the right time to change things about.

The first half was a turgid affair. Semsa had alot of possesion but didn't create many chances. Bankies when pressing had the ball in good areas but didn't make much for themselves.

Semsa scored twice before the break to take a deserved lead.

The second half was much improved when Bankies went for 5 accross the midfield.

Colin McInally's impressive run of late saw him pull one back with 20 minutes to go. UCS had lots of late pressure but couldn't get the ball in the direction of the Semsa goal and the home side hung on for victory.

UCS host Baillieston Villa in the league cup at Faifley this Saturday morning.
