UCS 1 SEMSA 4

Once again the UCS team collapsed in the final third of the match to make the scoreline suggest a drubbing.

In the first half, SEMSA were the stronger side and had many chances but could only convert one on 25 minutes which was deflected past Joey Muir.

With 5 minutes to half time Bankies drew level. Paul Mooney won possesion just inside the SEMSA half and he fed Colin McInally who advanced on goal and chipped the visitors keeper to mark his fifth goal in five game, and to make it 1-1 at half time.

Bankies opened the second half the stronger side. McInally and Stooby Graham both having good chances.

SEMSA responded by forcing Joey Muir into a good save and they also had one cleared off the line. With 23 minutes left SEMSA took the lead, and scored again with 15 minutes to go.

This dampened Bankies' spirits after competing so well with the second-placed side for long spells. The fourth goal came with 4 minutes left as Bankies pushed to get back into it.

Bankies are due to take on Northwest Thistle this Saturday.
